GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Gwinnett County police are searching for two suspects connected to at least seven robberies at cell phone stores in Norcross.

Police released surveillance video on Tuesday that shows one suspect armed with a handgun hopping over the counter and holding the clerk at gunpoint. He then cleared out the cash register.

"I was so scared," said Katty Herrera, a clerk at a Metro PCS store on Jimmy Carter Boulevard who was held up at gunpoint. "I was shaking but my other friend couldn't even talk."

Herrera said the gunman took money from the cash register then demanded to know where the safe was.

"He was pointing at us saying 'give me the money, give me the savings,'" said Herrera.

Her boss, Jeff Song, said he walked out from a back room during the robbery.

"He was coming around to get some phones," said Song. "But that's when I opened the door and that's when we faced each other and he ran out."

In the first five robberies, police said the suspects took only cash. In the last two holdups, they also got away with cell phones. Police also said a second gunman took part in the most recent robbery.

"As of now, nobody's been hurt in these robberies but obviously when you have a gun pointed at somebody, the potential is always there," said Detective Matthew Kenck.

The suspects are hitting the stores during the day while they are open for business.

Police said the robbers are armed and dangerous.

"They hop over the counter," said Kenck. "They don't hesitate. They're very bold. They don't seem to be nervous at all."

Police are asking anyone with information to call authorities.
