Train hits truck on railroad tracks in Gwinnett County

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police are investigating after a truck was hit by a train on a set of railroad tracks in Gwinnett County.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on the tracks at Buford Highway and Amwiler Road.

Cpl. Jake Smith with the Gwinnett County Police Department said that the people inside the truck were able to get before being hit by the train.

No one was injured in the accident.
