ACWORTH, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Agents with Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad arrested five people during a drug operation at the Peaks Apartments in Acworth on Thursday.
Agents arrested Charles Edward Elliot, 37, for possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, Richard Darrin Hudson, 46, for sale of cocaine, and Germaine Sharif Fludd, 37, for possession of marijuana and sale of cocaine.
After serving the warrant, agents saw a vehicle pull into the apartment complex.
When the deputies and agents approached they met 30-year-old Alexander Anthony Verrucci and 30-year-old Keith Adam Vance.
Deputies said Verrucci had a revolver hidden under his leg.
Agents searched their car and found a variety of drugs. Verrucci was charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of marijuana.
Vance was arrested for possession of marijuana.
