Father of teen killed in Norcross home invasion arrested for drug trafficking

NORCROSS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The father of a Norcross teenager killed during a February home invasion was arrested.

Nicholas Jackson Sr., 32, was arrested at the Norcross Police Department on a warrant relating to a federal investigation.

Jackson faces drug trafficking charges, according to reports. He will have a detention hearing at 10 a.m. Monday.

His son Nicolas Jackson Jr., a well-liked football player at Norcross High School, was killed during a home invasion in February. The family hired a private investigator to find out why he was killed.

Six people were arrested for his murder.
