Highway 20 intersection in Gwinnett County back open after police activity

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The intersection of Highway 20 and Russell Road was shut down in Lawrenceville due to police activity on Wednesday.

Police arrested one person at the Shell gas station near the intersection after he threatened officers with a gun.

The man was involved in a domestic dispute with a woman, according to police. The woman was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The man was charged with several counts of aggravated assault.
