Plane lands safely in Denver after bird strike

DENVER (AP) -

A United Airlines flight has landed safely after colliding with a bird as the plane descended into Denver International Airport.

Flight 1475 from Dallas-Fort Worth collided with the bird Tuesday morning. Christen David of United says no one was injured. There were 151 passengers on board.

The plane was being inspected. Denver TV stations showed images of the plane with a large dent just below a hole in the nose.
