MONROE, COUNTY (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Monroe County Commission Office employee is out of jail on bond facing multiple theft charges.
After an investigation, Kim Romine, 45, was arrested for multiple counts of theft by taking and breach of fiduciary responsibility.
Romine made at least 10 automatic payments to personal accounts for cell phone, car insurance and natural gas charges using a county owned credit card, according to police reports.
The charges totaled around $11,325.
Romine's was terminated July 30. She turned herself in to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office's on July 31.
The investigation into the case continues.
