ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Target created an ad for its online wedding registry featuring two grooms hand-in-hand.
The ad is creating a positive and negative reaction among customers. Let us know what you think on Facebook.
According to an interview with the St. Paul Pioneer Press, a Target spokeswoman said the Minneapolis-based company was not making a statement concerning its stance on Minnesota's "traditional marriage" amendment one way or another.
The company said the ad was nothing more than an attempt to reach all guests and represent the diversity of communities.
According to documents filed with the FEC in October 2010, Target donated to a bevy of anti-gay politicians even after Steinhafel apologized and committed to reforming the review process for future political donations.
