LILBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A Lilburn congregation was prepared to give away 100,000 pounds of food on Sunday.
The Faith Center held its annual "Be the Church Day." The event is their way of reaching out to the community and helping those in need.
The church started the event in 2009. The first year their goal was to give away 10,000 pounds of food, and they gave more than 20,000 pounds. Each following year they have given away more food.
