Groundbreaking ceremony held for Walmart on Memorial Drive in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A groundbreaking will be held for DeKalb County's newest Walmart on Friday.

The store on Memorial Drive hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

The new Walmart super center is already helping drive the revitalization of Memorial Drive, bringing approximately 250 jobs to southeast DeKalb County, according to Chief of Staff of DeKalb, District 4, Judy T. Brownlee.
