ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
CBS Atlanta's Tough Questions got results for cab drivers who had to work in hot and filthy conditions at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
We first reported the air conditioning failure, dust clogged air vents and the unsanitary restroom that cab drivers at the airport were forced to use last Friday.
Now four days later it's been all cleaned up.
"CBS, you guys did a great job. Since you guys got in the game everything has changed," cab driver Shamarke Yonis said.
Hartsfield-Jackson General Manager Louis Miller told CBS Atlanta his crews spent all weekend making repairs.
Miller said they aren't done, especially where the restrooms are concerned.
"We are going to close that down for a couple of weeks so we can get in there and take care of the restroom the way it needs to be taken care of and replace some of the fixtures," Miller said.
Operations personnel said along with closing down the restroom for further repairs, the plan is to also put a second air conditioning unit the building to make sure it remains cool and comfortable at all times.
