Police are trying to determine what caused a gray Honda Accord to overturn and crash into a utility pole, bringing wires down onto an East Point street early Tuesday.
Lt. Cliff Chandler said the car crashed near the corner of Stone Road and Dodson Drive just after 2:40 a.m. Another car reported to be involved in the accident left the scene.
Police said no injuries were reported, but the damaged pole and wires blocked Stone Road for several hours as crews worked to remove the car and make the repairs.
Police did not say if anyone faces charges.
