DeKalb County holds Family Fun Day

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The fifth annual DeKalb Family Fun Day was held Sunday afternoon in Lithonia.

Commissioner Lee May started the event, which is also billed as a way to excite kids about going back to school. The event was free and also provided needed school supplies to families. Health screenings were also offered.

Some of the fun activities included face painting, horseback riding and swimming. Organizers expected 3,000 people to attend the event.
