ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless held their annual Back to School Jamboree on Saturday at Turner Field.
The organization helps children living at or below the poverty level prepare for the school year by giving them the necessary supplies. The kids are given a backpack, school supplies, clothes and a health screen.
Activities and games were also part of the event.
According to the organization, more than 4,000 children in Atlanta live at or below the poverty level.
