Property taxes going down in Cobb County

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Property taxes are going down in Cobb County.

The school board voted to reduce its millage rate Thursday night.

They made the decision because the district made more than $20 million last year from sales tax.

Money generated from the millage rate will be used to meet the district's maintenance and operation budget.
