Overturned dump truck closes I-85 in Fairburn

FAIRBURN, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Three lanes of northbound Interstate 85 have been shut down at Johnson Road in Fairburn due to a dump truck accident.

According to Fairburn police, the dump truck flipped over, spilling the sand it was carrying onto the highway.

The Georgia Department of Transportation also reported a nearby bridge was damaged in the accident.

It was unclear if anyone was hurt in the accident.
