DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
DeKalb County police are searching for a suspect in a fatal stabbing that happened Sunday night at 4787 Redan Road.
Officers said the 27-year-old victim and suspect got into a fight around 10:30 p.m. along Redan Road.
At some point in the argument the suspect pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim, according to police reports.
The victim was able to run across the street and get help from an officer directing traffic.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but later died because of his injuries.
Detectives have identified the suspect and are in the process for securing warrants for his arrest.
