Man shot during carjacking in Atlanta

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A man was shot Monday afternoon as a result of a carjacking.

It happened in the 3000 block of Collier Drive in Atlanta at Harwell Heights Park.

The victim managed to run from the park to a nearby home to get help.

He was taken to the hospital, alert, conscious and breathing.
