HENRY COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Henry County police suspect a black SUV caused an accident on Interstate 75 that injured five travelers Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. at mile marker 228 in the northbound lanes of the I-75. Police say three people were taken by ambulance to Grady Memorial Hospital. A medical helicopter took another victim to Atlanta Medical Center while rescuers extricated a fifth victim.
Authorities say the black SUV has damage to the front quarter panel on the passenger side. It was last seen traveling north into Clayton County.
Henry County police say the victims had non-life-threatening injuries.
