ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Atlanta City Council proclaimed Friday as Harriet Ross Tubman Day in the City of Atlanta.
Family members of Harriet Tubman will be in Atlanta this weekend celebrating their family reunion.
Sights and Sounds Black Cultural Museum will host the Tubman family in the museum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Proclamation will be read and presented to the oldest surviving relative of Tubman, her great grand-niece Geraldine Copes Daniels.
The Tubman Family will also perform a skit on the life of Tubman.
