Two shot, one killed in overnight DeKalb County shooting

Mark Melvin/CBS Atlanta- Police investigate a double shooting in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

A man was killed and a woman is recovering in a local hospital after a shooting outside a DeKalb County home early Thursday.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired after 1 a.m. at the home on Flat Shoals Road and found two victims of gunfire. A man and a woman were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

The man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The woman's injuries are considered non-life threatening.

No information on the victims or possible suspects has been released.
