NORCROSS, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
This week a smoking ban kicked off in Norcross after city council approved the one of a kind ban that includes all city property, even the sidewalks downtown.
Smokers would have to smoke off city property according to Norcross City Manager Rudolph Smith.
Smith said the city will spend about $2,000 on new public signs regarding the ban. He also said they will begin by handing out warnings.
