ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
On Tuesday the community came together to participate in The Amazing Spider-Man's ‘Be Amazing, Stand Up and Volunteer' nationwide day of service.
Hundreds of volunteers gave their time and energy to projects throughout the city including a special project selected by the Office of Mayor Kasim Reed and designed by Hands On Atlanta.
Tuesday's activities included interior and exterior painting, repairing and staining benches, landscaping, building shelves, painting murals and more.
