Police: Woman found shot on the side of the road

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

Police said a passer-by found a woman shot in the head on the side of the road in southwest Atlanta overnight.

The victim was found on the side of Old Gordon Road near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive NW around midnight.

Police said the victim is in her late teens or early 20s and is in extremely critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.

The victim had no identification on her.

Police have no suspects at this time.
