Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jamal Anderson was arrested early Sunday morning for drunken driving in DeKalb County.
A police report states Anderson, 39, was driving so slow he was impeding traffic when his vehicle was stopped around 4:30 a.m.
Anderson ran for 5,336 yards and 34 touchdowns in an eight-year career with the Falcons. His best season came in 1998, when he recorded 1,846 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns while helping to lead the Falcons to their first Super Bowl appearance. A knee injury effectively ended his career two years later.
Anderson is one of the retired players suing the NFL over concussions suffered during their playing careers.
