DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
DeKalb County's Fugitive Squad is searching for a suspect that lead deputies on a high-speed chase down I-20 on Monday.
Royce Cross who is wanted for theft by taking, failure to appear, violating his probation and larceny, was spotted by investigators around noon on Whites Mill Lane in Decatur.
Deputies said Cross fled in a stolen white 2008 Dodge Magnum.
During the pursuit Cross hit two unmarked police cars, according to reports.
Investigators said Cross approached the I-20 and Cascade exit and made a U-turn in the middle of the highway.
Cross collided with an 18-wheeler and jumped a fence before fleeing the scene of the accident.
Cross will be charged with several additional charges including speeding and aggravated assault.
He is still wanted by deputies.
