CARROLL COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Investigators have Tough Questions after a 6-year-old girl in Carroll County overdosed on prescription pills.
They want to know why she was the only child who took the pills and why she was only partially dressed.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office said the girl and her friends, ages 6, 7, and 10, found the pills in a nearby vacant trailer and brought them to a plastic playhouse. The pills consisted of sleeping, heart, cholesterol and anti-anxiety medications.
The girl was flown to Children's Hospital in Atlanta where the Carroll County Sheriff's Office said she is recovering and could be released this week.
