ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Atlanta police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with three robberies on or near the Georgia Tech campus over the weekend. Police said one of the suspects asked the victims to use their cell phone, while the other suspect pulled out a gun. The two suspects then robbed the victims and got away.
The incidents happened at points around campus. Students said they were aware of the crimes through a campus-wide online alert system.
"It's just a reminder for the students that do come in, we do need to be safe, we do live in a city," said Katie Flint, a senior from Chicago.
Police said the suspects were described as two men both in their early to mid 20s, around 6' tall with dark complexions and thin to average body builds. The suspect armed with a black handgun was wearing a white T-shirt and had shoulder-length dreadlocks, according to police. The other suspect was wearing a light blue and white striped shirt, and had short hair.
