The Jones Bridge Dental Care office in Alpharetta hosted a Free Dentistry Day on Saturday. They provided a free dental service for the first 100 people.
Dr. Jo Pausa, an oral surgeon, was one of several professionals who volunteered their time.
"Most of them are chronic situations and just don't have the means to help themselves out," said Dr. Pausa.
Juan Pasma is the force behind the event at the office. "This is the only dental service they get each year - it's sad," said Pasma.
Even though the event started Saturday morning, people started lining up the day before. Danielle Simpson and her mother arrived 10:30 Friday morning. They both received a free service.
Patients could choose between a cleaning, extraction and filling a cavity. Simpson opted for a cleaning.
"It feels good, it really does," said Simpson.
This is the fourth year of the event.
