DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Two people are dead in two different accidents in DeKalb County Friday morning.
The first accident happened around 6 a.m. on Lawrenceville Highway at Steele Drive.
Police said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on Lawrenceville Highway and attempting to turn into a business driveway when the vehicle struck a scooter heading west.
The 51-year-old female driver of the scooter died at the scene.
It is not clear if charges will be filed.
The second accident happened around 6:10 a.m.
One person died after a single motorcycle accident on SR 141 north at I-285.
DeKalb County police have released no further details about either accident.
