Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a Dunwoody apartment early Friday morning.
Dunwoody Police Sergeant Michael Carlson said officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Peachtree Place Apartments off Peachtree Place Parkway just after midnight and found Roberto Calderon-Guzman, 30, of Bainbridge, with at least one gunshot wound inside an apartment.
Calderon-Guzman was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, Carlson said.
Witnesses told police the shooter fled the scene on foot.
Police have not released a motive in the shooting, or any information on possible suspects.
