ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
There are new details about a double shooting that happened Wednesday afternoon in southeast Atlanta that left two men hospitalized in a botched robbery.
The two victims were rushed to the emergency room at Grady Memorial Hospital. One man was shot in the leg and the other in his face.
A neighbor's surveillance camera caught the vicious shooting on tape.
"Due to the severities of the injuries of the victims, we haven't been able to establish exactly what happened," said Paul Guerrucci with the Atlanta Police Department. "Our preliminary findings would indicate though that this is some type of robbery."
Officers combed the crime scene searching for clues and investigators were seen snapping photographs.
But the most compelling evidence might be what was caught on surveillance video. Atlanta police said one of their own officer's home surveillance cameras caught the crime in the act.
There's a $2,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in this case.
