Fire investigators believe the fire that killed a father and son in Lithonia Tuesday night was accidental.
Late Wednesday fire officials told CBS Atlanta the fire started in the engine compartment of the families' late model, seven-series BMW.
Arson investigators, who combed through the charred remains, said so far the evidence gathered doesn't point to foul play.
Neighbors find it hard to believe the fire was purely an accident.
"It's just hard for me to believe that a car exploded like that," next door neighbor Victoria Jackson said.
Jackson is concerned about the victims' wife and mother. She is 18-weeks pregnant.
Fire investigators said it could be weeks before they officially determine the cause of the deadly fire.
