First responders honored at downtown Atlanta block party

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The people who work hard to keep you safe are being honored this weekend with a big concert and block party in downtown Atlanta.

More than 1,000 bikers will ride from Roswell to downtown Atlanta for the Grady Rock-N-Ride on Saturday.

After the ride in, guests can enjoy shopping and food at the "Party on Peachtree" with live music from Drivin' N Cryin' and several other bands.

The ride starts at Killer Creek Harley Davidson in Roswell at 2 p.m. and ends at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Atlanta around 3 p.m.

The proceeds will benefit the Grady Health Foundation and the Gold Shield Foundation, which helps injured first responders.
