Mark Melvin/CBS Atlanta- A motorcyclist was killed early Wednesday on Highway 85.CLAYTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Clayton County police are investigating an early morning crash that killed a man riding a motorcycle on Highway 85 in Riverdale.
Officer Charlene Watson-Frasier said a car was traveling south at around 12:45 a.m. and was attempting to turn into an apartment complex.
The motorcycle, traveling north, struck the rear quarter panel of the car on the passenger side. The approximately 40-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene, Watson-Frasier said.
There were no injuries reported to the driver of the car.
Police said charges have not yet been filed, pending the investigation.
