MCSO raid
PHOENIX (CBS5) -
Maricopa County sheriff's deputies raided a Phoenix business as part of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's continuing employer sanctions enforcement.
Deputies served search warrants at Autofit, 1828 W. Buckeye Rd., in Phoenix and took six people in custody.
Sheriff's deputies said they obtained information months ago indicating employees at the business were using forged documents to get employment there.
During the investigation, four suspects were identified as fraudulently using fake Social Security numbers and one of those numbers belonged to someone who was dead, MCSO said.
Arpaio said it was his office's 61st raid at businesses suspected of employing people in the U.S. illegally.
No other information was immediately available.
