DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A DeKalb County police officer, arrested for allegedly driving drunk, is now on restrictive duty.
Frederick A. Hicks, 41, was arrested on I-85 near Clairmont Road Sunday morning.
Hicks was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, driving in an improper lane and speeding.
He was booked into the DeKalb County Jail around 7:30 a.m. Sunday and was released that afternoon on a $2,500 bond.
Hicks has worked in the DeKalb County Police Department for 10 years.
