Tyler Perry gives fans a chance at walk-on role

ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

On Facebook, Tyler Perry announced there will be a talent search taking place for a chance to win a walk-on role in a Tyler Perry production.

"For a long time now, people have been asking me how they can be in one of my movies, plays or TV shows," said Perry.

Perry created this competition to give his online family a chance to showcase their talent.

Fans will be responsible for picking the top 10 finalists. Perry will personally choose the winner from the top 10.

Voting closes June 29, and the Top 10 will be announced.

There are only three steps. 1) Submit an audition video of yourself doing what you do best in three minutes or less. 2) Upload the audition video so the voting can begin. 3) Vote on your favorites.
