FAYETTEVILLE, AR (AP) -

Arkansas has reached its third College World Series in the last 10 seasons behind one of the top pitching staffs in the country.

The Razorbacks (44-20) open play in Omaha, Neb., on Saturday against Kent State (46-18). They enter the tournament with a team ERA of 2.90, the seventh-lowest in the country and best of any of the eight remaining teams.

Arkansas reached the College World Series with a win over Baylor in the Super Regional, the school's third in 10 seasons under coach Dave Van Horn. The Razorbacks' bullpen threw six scoreless innings in the clinching 10-inning, 1-0 win over the Bears, and the group has seven regular members who sport sub 3.00 ERAs.

DJ Baxendale (7-5) is expected to start the opener, with Ryne Stanek (7-4) to follow.
