ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
How annoying is it for commuters heading into town down Georgia 400? Need we answer that question?
The new flex lanes utilizing the emergency shoulders have helped. Now GDOT has another plan, and work begins tonight.
The 9-mile stretch from McFarland down to Holcomb Bridge currently has three through-traffic lanes and a fourth lane that requires drivers to exit at each bypass.
Crews will restripe nine miles so that there will be four continuous lanes, eliminating the exit-only lane.
Will it work? Maybe, but Pothole Harry has an even better idea. Find out tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
