Cartersville police arrested a man suspected of an attempted robbery within 13 minutes Wednesday morning.
Police said around 10:32 a.m., officers were dispatched to a robbery attempt at the Dollar Tree store on East Main Street.
Calvin Fletcher Kent, 51, of Cartersville, did not have a weapon during the attempted robbery and fled without taking anything, police said.
After being given a description of the suspect, officers located Kent across the street at the Kroger store.
Kent was charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery and booked in at the Bartow County Jail.
