FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
After weeks of controversy and questionable property tax assessments, Fulton County officials are taking steps to reassure homeowners.
Members of the board of assessors will be at a community meeting Tuesday night.
They will take questions from homeowners about how their homes are assessed.
The meeting will be at the Alpharetta Family YMCA on Preston Ridge Road. It starts at 7 p.m.
The county encourages owners unhappy with the value of their home to appeal.
If you want to file an appeal, you have to do that on the Fulton County website.
