GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A house fire sent three people to a local hospital Sunday evening. It happened in the 500 block of Coalville Drive in Lawrenceville.
Two women and a male toddler were in the home when the fire started. When Gwinnett County paramedics arrived at 5:40 p.m., they found all three victims outside the home. The two adults were treated at the scene for minor burns on their upper arms and shoulder areas before being taken to the Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment of possible inhalation burns. The child was also taken to GMC for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Firefighters quickly contained the majority of the fire to the garage area. There was significant damage to the garage and moderate smoke damage to the remainder of the home.
No firefighters were injured during the incident.
