COVINGTON, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
It not often that Pothole Harry gets complaints from Newton County. But as the saying goes, when it rains, it pours.
Pothole Patrol found out about a large subdivision off Brown Mill Road with major problems.
The potholes in The Villages of Ellington are a symptom of a much bigger problem. Every street in the subdivision needs to be torn up and replaced.
County leaders say the funding for repairs isn't in the county budget, as it would cost an estimated $1 million to repave.
Pothole Harry investigates Thursday at 4:30 p.m. on CBS Atlanta News.
