DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -

DeKalb County arson investigators are trying to determine whether a fire at a junk yard in Lithonia early Wednesday morning was intentionally set.

Firefighters responded to the business on Rogers Lake Road at about 5 a.m.

Chief Eddie O'Brien told CBS Atlanta News that the fire is suspicious because the owner of the business pointed out a hole in the surrounding fence that wasn't there yesterday.

No injuries were reported.  Firefighters said there are no environmental concerns from the small fuel tanks that exploded as flames engulfed the building.

The building appears to be a total loss, firefighters said.

DeKalb County records show two businesses listed for the property - Parts R Us Recycling and South DeKalb Towing and Transport.

A man who identified himself at the owner came to the scene.  He declined to confirm the name of the business, but said that he's glad no one was hurt.
