Paul Jacob Kelley
DUNWOODY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A man from Atlanta was arrested by Dunwoody police after officers said he used the camera on his cell phone to record video underneath women's dresses at a local Target store.
When CBS Atlanta News' Tony McNary interviewed 43-year-old Paul Jacob Kelley on Tuesday, Kelley would not give specific information about why he was arrested.
"I can't go into specifics, but there was an incident at Target involving myself and a young lady," Kelley said.
It happened at the Target on Perimeter Center Place in Dunwoody. According to the police report, officers discovered the video on Kelley's cell phone after they were called to Target about an eavesdropping complaint.
Kelley admitted he was there and did do something he's not proud of.
"I'm filled with regret, remorse and shame. That's about all I can say about it," Kelley said. "If I could, I would apologize to the young lady because I feel very badly about it. I do apologize to the young lady because I do feel very bad about it. I'm filled with shame."
Kelley told CBS Atlanta News that he hoped his actions wouldn't affect his family.
"The thing I care about most is protecting my family. They should not have to suffer for my actions. I'm a grown man," Kelley said. "I was raised very well and come from a good family. My decisions in life are not a reflection on my family at all."
For that reason, Kelley said he plans to do the right thing.
"I will own up to what I did, in court. I don't plan on fighting because it's not much to fight," Kelley said.
