Cobb County police are searching for a man who they say takes money for appliance repair jobs and never completes the work.
Police said Jonathan Davis, 37, advertises on the internet as an appliance repairman.
According to police, he may use the business name of Atlanta Appliance, Appliance Repair or represent himself as employed by a legitimate company.
When contacted by someone in need of repair, police said Davis arrives at the home and takes payment up front to order parts.
Davis then immediately cashes the check and does not return to finish the job.
Police said Davis drives a newer model black GMC truck and speaks with a pronounced southern drawl.
There are multiple warrants out for his arrest.
