Moores Mill Bridge in Atlanta
ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
After days of working around the clock, crews with the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management have successfully sealed the water leak on the bridge over Peachtree Creek.
Pothole Harry first started reporting on the problem last week. The outer edge of the bridge was dropping and full of potholes.
The Department of Atlanta Watershed Management decided to start repair work last weekend, but the first two attempts to fix the 50-year-old main were unsuccessful.
Pothole Harry informed drivers that the bridge may stay closed for weeks.
Wednesday morning, crews sealed the leak. If all goes well, the road will reopen by Friday.
