Special Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation along with the Cordele Police Department charged a 26-year-old with felony murder and one count of aggravated assault for the murder of Andrew Ford.
On April 28, 2012, just before 2:30 a.m., Ford was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Michael Marvin Davis Jr. was taken into custody at his home in Cordele.
Ford's body was taken to the state crime lab where an autopsy will be performed.
