ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Atlanta police have identified a woman who was killed in a crash just before midnight Sunday on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at Hightower Boulevard.
According to reports, driver Sharnaye Williams crossed into the oncoming lane and slammed into another car driven by Keevin Huston.
Williams' passenger, Tonika Clark, 31, was entrapped inside the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Huston was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for a broken leg.
Williams sustained serious injuries and was also taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police believe alcohol and rainy conditions may have been a contributing factor in this accident.
Charges are pending against Williams.
